Clients are responsible to arrive to each treatment with the area to be treated clean shaved.
Shave the area 12-24 hours before your treatment with a new razor.
Shaving immediately prior to treatment may cause extra sensitivity to the skin.
Tanned skin can be treated provided the skin is not burnt.
Please avoid direct sun exposure to the area being treated for at least 3 days prior to treatment.
Avoid plucking , bleaching, waxing or using depilatory creams 4 – 6 weeks before treatment.
Do not epilate, pluck or wax hair during your laser treatment. ONLY SHAVING is allowed between laser treatments.
You must avoid the use of essential oils for 48 hours prior to treatment.
If you have a history of cold sores you may take your usual medication 5 days before and 5 days after your laser treatment.
No antibiotics 2 weeks before laser treatment. Please advise your therapist if taking antibiotics.
No painkillers 24 hours before treatment.
Please let your therapist know if your taking any new medication other than what is stated on your original consultation form. You may be asked to stop using any topical medications or active skincare products 3-5 days prior to your treatment.
Do not exfoliate the area for 24 hours prior to your treatment.
Epildream laser can be used over fake tan but the treatment strength will be reduced, we recommend you discontinue the use of self tanning products one week before your treatment.
Do not shave the area or apply perfumed deodorant for 48 hours post treatment. APG Soothing spray Deodorant from APG is safe to use on the treated area 2 hours after treatment & during your course .
You must use sun protection Factor 15(or higher) on the area daily.
Wear loose clothing on the day of the treatment to avoid irritation.
No heat treatments i.e. hot showers, baths, sauna, jacuzzi or swimming for 24 hours.
Avoid sun exposure on the area for 48 hours.
No vigorous sweating i.e. gym / running for 24 hours.
Avoid picking or scratching the treated area.
It can take between 10-21 days for the hair to fall out of the hair follicle.
You may experience redness or swelling of each hair follicle in the treated area, which may last up to 5 hours. Erythema may last up to 2-3 days. Apply the APG delicate soothing fluid with cool compresses for comfort.
We recommend that you use the APG Renewing cream (exfoliates the skin & prevents ingrown hairs) and Delicate soothing cream (sooth and hydrate the skin) in between treatments. The skin must be exfoliated, hydrated and healthy for the laser treatment to be effective. (Use APG Renewing cream 3 days after your treatment and discontinue 3 days before your next treatment).

The number of treatments will depend on many factors however due to the high speed performance of our technology we recommend you have just 6-8 sessions.
We use a state of the art Epildream medical grade diode technology laser hair removal machine. Our machine has an additional cooling device built into the treatment head to ensure the most comfortable treatment for the client. As with everything it depends on the individual and their sensitivity, however we use the most advanced technology on the market to date and most clients don’t feel a thing!
Yes all skin types can be treated. We use the most advanced technology laser which allows us to treat any skin type safely and effectively!
